I spent over a decade producing reality TV. I spent those years gravitating towards authenticity and uplifting the real stories of others. After all, they were always much more interesting than anything made up. Life is a little messy, not always perfect. There's more personality in the everyday or ordinary than most people notice or celebrate.

On set, my bosses often called on me to help especially nervous people feel comfortable so they could fully realize their star potential on shows like X Factor USA, Bridezillas, Masterchef, Couples Therapy and Famously Single.

Combing through hours and hours of footage in post production over the years hunting for scenes, sound bites and stories, taught me how to celebrate every different personality and how to find unique moments of joy and wonder in the small pieces of life others may have overlooked.

I bring this unique perspective to all my photography, whether I'm capturing a family, a place, a product, or a person.
